April Blizzard!

Winters are long here in northern Wisconsin!

When I walked the dog last night there was a dusting of snow on the ground but I figured it would be gone by morning.

Wrong!  There was a full-fledged blizzard going on when I got up this morning and I took this picture just as it was tapering off.

I’ve only lived up here for five years so I’ve never seen it, but my neighbors say it has snowed as late as Mother’s Day!

I was really enjoying the beautiful spring weather and I hope the snow will melt away soon so we can get back to it.

That is a good news! I love long winters since I am deprived of this pleasure here in the eastern part of the world. But one does start craving the sun light when it becomes dark and foggy for a whole month or so.
