There are many different types of work online jobs. It is important for a person to understand about the different types of work at home so that they can choose the job that works best for them.
An employee position in the work at home job market is something rare. There are opportunities, but mostly the work at home jobs are for independent contractors.
Getting a work at home job with a top company has a great pay off. It is worth the time it will take to actually secure the job. Many times these are some of the best work at home jobs out there because they are reliable, pay well and usually offer employee status, which means benefits and other perks.
An self employed person works for no one but themselves. An self employed person simply makes an agreement to work for the company, but is not an exclusive member of the company or otherwise indebted to the company. Usually the work agreement is for a set amount or set time period and the pay is often negotiable. The company does not pay taxes nor do they withhold taxes for the self employed person.
Keeping records is something that most people never consider when they start working at home. This can be a major problem because most work at home positions are as an independent contractor. What this means is that the employer does not with holds taxes and you are responsible for paying them. Record keeping is important because it allows you to keep track of your earnings and of things you can take as deductions on your taxes.
Affiliate work from home opportunities are very popular and they can also be a very profitable and successful choice. Understanding them is important, though, before getting involved with one. One of the first things a person needs to know about affiliate work from home offers is the difference between them and a ponzi scam. The two are very familiar, but there is a key difference.
The difference is that with an affiliate work from home program there are products or services being sold. In a ponzi scam no products or services are sold. The reason these two can be confused is that both involve recruiting others in order to earn income. However, with an affiliate work from home program recruiting is only part of the income. Selling products is another way to earn income and recruiting others is not even mandatory to earning money.
When selling products from home online a work at home job can be considered more of a home based business. home business online are a great tax advantage and can be very rewarding. Not only that but if set up correctly you can also sell your home based business for significant profit.
If you have a list and you continually ad-pound your members without giving value it’s a fair bet that sooner rather than later, those list members will eventually opt out.
Why is this? Simply because you’re not providing them with value. It’s one of the key ingredients missing from many running an internet network marketing business; they can attract the prospects but simply can’t get them past that stage.
Now there’s a simple solution for this. You train and educate your members from the moment they enter your lead funnel. Instead of sending them short, punchy sales oriented material why not send them information they can use and act on. Send them links to free resources or write a short report and let them have it.
Until you understand what your prospects really want then it’s going to be an uphill battle for you. Ann Sieg teaches this in The Renegade Network Marketer and confesses she struggled for a long time before giving her prospects what they wanted.
Why Someone Becomes Your Prospect
Maybe they saw you as someone who could lead them to the “promised land.” Here’s a cold hard fact…most people looking for a internet network marketing opportunity do so because they have a problem. It’s usually of a financial nature, either lack of current funds or they want to set up a nest egg for the future that they can live from comfortably and provide for their families.
Emotions come into play and if you can tap into these emotions then you are half way to getting them to join you at some stage down the line in your business. These people are looking for someone to show them how to get to a stage where they are realizing their goals.
Training Your Prospect
One way to build trust with them is to train them from the moment they enter your prospect funnel. Provide tips they can use, show them the right way to build an inter-network marketing business and show them free resources they can go to for now to educate themselves about building an online business.
Sure, you’re not making money right away from them but in the big picture, some of these people could eventually become the Diamonds in your business you’re craving. It’s like growing a garden, some nurturing and care is required in the initial stages and when it takes off well, it will literally fly.
It’s you people are interested in and not the company you’re with. If you earn someone’s trust in the first few weeks then you will be in a strong position to make a recommendation or two. But until you do this, don’t expect many people to hit the buy button when you immediately starting pounding them with sales pitch after sales pitch after they opt into your funnel.

What do you think is the toughest challenge facing MLMers during the vital first 3 months of their business? Yes, it’s cashflow.
Many people are drawn into an MLM business by seeing examples of huge incomes and when they join, they are disappointed to find that making money takes time. 90% of them will drop out within 3 monthsand it is usually because they could not cover their start up costs.
It takes money to run a network marketing business, even if you are working part time from home. You usually have to pay a joining fee on top of buying stock, having your stationery printed etc. Often there is a monthly membership or autoship fee too. New recruits may pay out hundreds or even thousands of dollars in those first 3 months.
You can cover those start up costs very quickly, but not by following the company’s plan. In The Renegade Network Marketer, Ann Sieg hands out a system that can bring in money right away to cover your costs while you are getting started. She hits out hard at the outdated network marketing myths that many uplines are still repeating to new distributors today.
Sidenote: you can find out more about these MLM myths in Ann’s free report, 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing.
When I came across The Renegade Network Marketer I had doubts, even though it was clear that what I had been doing up to then was not working. I thought she might be just another MLM basher. In fact, Ann has a very positive attitude to MLM. It’s just the old methods that she criticizes. Replacing them with her own new methods for the 21st century has brought her huge success.
The Renegade Network Marketer is packed with MLM gold nuggets. Ann never wastes words and really does show how you can make money in MLM without recruiting anyone into your main business. She saves the best information for the end, setting out a success blueprint that is easy to follow. You also get free membership in the Renegade System so that you can put it all into practice right away.
Ann is not particularly tactful and some of the old style MLMers may be offended. That’s too bad. But if the old way is not working for you and you want to understand why the prospecting and recruiting methods you are using are actually hurting your business, it’s worth taking a look. You will see strategies which are not generally taught at those opportunity meetings.

The following is a story all too familiar in the internet network marketing world and while attraction marketing is a concept which has now been with us for some time, it seems there is a mountain of work to do to swing most MLMers around to the concept.
It’s a syndrome called desperate marketer and it is so obvious and rarely gets any results that’s it’s a wonder why people just don’t wake up to the fact that by coming at a prospect like a “bull at a gate” just serves to drive them away.
Ann Sieg made some startling observations in her hard hitting report The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing and a lot of the points she raised all lead to the desperate marketer syndrome. The concept of attraction marketing followed by strong pre-sell tactics all designed to gain the prospect’s trust before the sales pitch, if it’s in fact required, needs to be really understood.
My Brush With A Desperate Marketer
Now I’m the first to admit I was as desperate as anyone when I first ventured into internet network marketing and it took a lot of focused training to get my mindset in the right place. I was recently contacted by who I thought was a prospect and here’s how the call went.
The prospect wanted to know a little more about the renegade system and I’m always happy to give some time when I have it and I was looking forward to also coaching this person a little.
But here’s the thing…within one minute of the conversation starting this fellow launched into a full blown sales pitch about his network marketing opportunity. He spoke about how great his company is, how life changing the products are and I should stop wasting my time studying systems like Ann Sieg’s Renegade.
I was taken aback. It caught me completely by surprise although it’s happened before on a smaller scale. So I listened…and listened…and listened. I had some time and just wanted to see how far he would go. When he finished by asking me for my mailing address so he could send me more information I simply told him you’ve just answered your own question about why I studied books like the Renegade Network Marketer.
I then asked him if he understood the concept of attraction marketing and more importantly, pre-selling. He refused to want to hear what I had to say so the conversation was cut short. I knew about his company and yes, their products are good but I was not looking for a networking opportunity.
You see, attraction marketing is all about putting your offer, whether it’s network marketing, internet marketing or just about any business opportunity in front of a hungry crowd who is ready to receive your message. Your prospects will be more targeted and more receptive to what you will have to say.
What I got was another desperate marketer who put himself first and the prospect second. At no stage did he want to know what my goals were or how I wanted to reach them. I turned off mentally in the first 20 seconds but thought he needed some practice with his sales pitch and that’s why I let him go on.
And every time I get this approach, listening to it just gives me more confidence that I’m on the right path with systems like the Renegade Network Marketer. How about you?
If you are starting an internet network marketing business then one of the first requirements you need is to develop or at least have a long term mindset for success. Here’s what we mean.
Recently, a Renegade system prospect contacted us and simply asked how long it would take to break even using Ann Sieg’s system. This question is one of the one’s we never like to hear although you could understand in a sense it being asked by someone working on a tight budget.
But the truth is, most of the time it’s being asked by someone who has already set themselves up for failure. At worst, it’s someone who doubts they can succeed. Answering a question like this is almost impossible because there are so many variables and usually, they are all connected to the person asking it.
For starters, we have no idea how much effort is going to be put into the implementation of the Renegade Network Marketer blueprint. What we do know is the blueprint is rock solid. There is obviously a learning curve involved especially for those coming online for the first time straight from the battlefields of offline network marketing.
The Attraction Marketing Model
By wondering when you’re going to break even means you’re focusing on the wrong things. Sure, you’re going to be worried about expense but that’s part and parcel with starting most businesses. The question I like to hear is “what can I do to give value to my prospects?”
It gets back to giving value first and when you do this and earn a prospect’s trust then magic does really happen. By going in with a “when will I break even” attitude a person is basically entering a business with a defeatist mind.
And as soon as an obstacle is thrown in their path then their first reaction will be to quit, not because it’s too hard but because they will be thinking about whether they should risk an other autoship payment.
Instead of thinking when you are going to start to break even wouldn’t it be better to set very easy goals short term which you can achieve. For example, start with setting a goal of getting your first prospect followed by a goal of getting five prospects in a week, then five more the next week and so on.
These are easy goals to achieve with the Renegade system. Can you see how powerful using this strategy is for maintaining momentum in your business?
It has already been established that affiliate marketing is one of the quickest and easiest ways to make money from your own home based business.
The products creator erases the need for research and development. You, as the affiliate, have only to deal with the marketing end. In most cases the merchant will even provide sales material for you.
This is great for fast profits, but what about the long term?
Think about this for a minute. The affiliate does all the work on getting interested prospects to the product sales page through their affiliate link. Hopefully the prospect buys and the affiliate gains the commission.
But what happens after that?
The affiliate must then repeat the process all over again to bring more prospects into their sales pipeline. All for a one off sale and commission.
This can turn into a costly proposition depending on the cost of getting the leads to the sales page and the conversion ratio of said sales page.
With that in mind, what can an affiliate do to increase their return on leads and qualified prospects?
Two things.
First, as an affiliate marketer in any niche you must set up your own lead capture page and build your own list of targeted prospects.
This can be done simply by using an autoresponder to capture names and email addresses that is set up with seven to ten follow up messages extolling the benefits of the product you are promoting.
Give away a free report or a review of the product as an enticement for the prospect to leave their information.
This way you can send endorsements of other related products as well if they don’t like the original product.
Second, find membership sites or services to promote in your particular niche.
This is a truly spectacular way to maximize your advertising by gaining recurring income instead of a one-time sale.
Think about what is happening right now with cell phones. You can purchase a phone with all the bells and whistles - camera, Internet ready, text messaging - the works for very cheap. Heck, you can even find some going in a two for one deal.
So what is the catch?
You have to sign up for two years of service.
That is where they make their cash. The recurring income model.
That is what you, as an affiliate marketer, should be looking to promote.
It has been said that it’s as easy to make $100 a day, as it is to make $5 a day. That’s especially true when you already have money rolling in from previous sales.
By promoting services with a recurring monthly charge, you’ll set yourself up with a nice residual income.
Why do some websites sell better than others? Do you need a marketing degree to create a website? Does design have much impact on sales?
You may not realize this but many of the successful internet marketing businesses realize that design, or layout of the website should be as much of a marketing decision as the ad copy. Why is that?
Web designers can do some amazing things with graphics and colors. You will also have a much more professional looking site when an expert applies his handiwork. However, it is very important to understand some of the key elements that smart marketers will make certain to appear (or NOT appear) on their highly profitable sites. If you are aware of these you may be able to select a designer who is knowledgeable in marketing as well as design.
COLOR:
Designs with a dramatic color can make compelling choices for setting a mood. But reading on a computer screen demands as much contrast as possible, otherwise the reader will develop vision fatigue. You do not want to irritate or tire your visitors in any way or they may leave, so be certain that the main body of your website copy is black writing on a white background - or as close to that ideal as possible.
Colors also change appearance on different monitors, so what looks cool and calm on one monitor may be bright and glaring on another. Simple works.
GRAPHICS:
Striking, bold graphics can be a real eye-catcher for visitors. Still, successful internet marketers are pretty much unanimous in stating that you should avoid flash graphics as much as possible. Again, they tend to tire visitors eyes or create a distraction from the written copy. Even if they are initially impressed by the work it may subconsciously annoy them. Simplicity is again the best way to go.
LAYOUT:
The first ‘fold’ of your site is similar to opening a traditional paper letter. If you remove a letter from an envelope that is folded in three, you will obviously view the top ‘fold’ first.
This fold is what individuals will see without scrolling down the page. It is CRUCIAL that important elements like descriptive headlines, your contact number, newsletter subscription form etc. all show in the first fold. Do NOT place banners here unless they are the main element of your business as you will be giving prime space to other websites and your customer (which you fought hard to get in the first place) will be gone just as quickly.
These are just some of the important elements you should be aware of when designing your site.
One method of making money on the internet is by affiliate marketing. This means that you will promote a product or a service, and help the company to make sales. You will have their website link on the bottom of your webpage. This is how you advertise for them. Any sales that are made by clicking on the link form your website will generate a commission for you. The beauty of this is that you can start making money as soon as you decide you want to.
The key to making good money as an affiliate is to make sure that the products you are trying to sell are logically tied into the theme of your website. You cannot put a link to a company that sells baby food on your website if you use it to promote your chicken farm. Likewise you will not make any sales for a company that sells women’s shoes if your website discusses the advantages of traveling in the off season. The two subjects must compliment each. For example, if your website deals with pregnancy and the care of the newborn you could link with diaper sites, baby food sites and nursery furniture stores to name a few. This will make it more likely that their links will get clicked from your site. This aligning of topics helps you make more much money in commissions.
One thing that makes some programs better than others is the two tier system. The first tier gives you the bigger commission. This one is how you get paid if the link from your website was the one that made a sale. But, as well, if a person becomes an affiliate under you there would be a smaller commission on each of their sales. This encourages you not only to be an affiliate but to bring in others and make money from their efforts. Another key to making a lot of money this way is to become an affiliate for several related companies while making sure that they do not offer the same products or services. If your links compete against each other you will not be successful; however, if they complement each other, that is always good.
So you think you have come up with the perfect way to make a lot of money. You are going to sell websites. Now, be advised, you had better be ready for a lot of hard work. Selling website is not something that you can do overnight, as if you really want to make it big by building and selling web pages, you will have to invest a lot of time and energy into your project. Still up for it? Read on to find out how to maximize your profits as a website seller.
The best way to make sure that you make a lot of money selling websites is to start at the bottom and work your way up. This means you need to come up with an idea for a website, buy the domain name, build the web pages, make your site popular, and then sell it. Sounds simple, but it takes a lot of work. As there are plenty of articles out there that can help you with the buying and designing process, we will skip ahead to the popularizing and selling part.
Now, you can sell websites that are not particularly popular - but you won’t make any money doing so. Sure, you can probably make a couple of hundred dollars if you’re lucky, but think of the hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars you can make if you sell a well maintained, popular website. So make that your goal. Raise your website and acquire an influx of visitors like you would if this was your own personal page.
Once you feel that your website has a sufficient number of people flowing through it on a daily basis, you should consider placing the site up for sale. Not just the domain name, but the entire site - from the hosting to the SQL databases to the client side scripts. Everything. There are various auction houses that you can consider selling your website on or you can place a link to a sales site on your page so that people can make you offers. However, if you’re really after the big bucks, you may want to contact another site in your niche to see if they are interested in acquiring your website.
When you start up your own online business, you need to keep in mind that the only way you can communicate with your clients is through what you write for them. While potential customers may email you from time to time asking you for information about the products or services you are selling–don’t count on it. Because every sale depends on how well worded your sales page is, it is of the utmost importance that you spend a lot of time writing your web copy.
The first step to writing any good sales page is to start out by examining what you are going to be selling on that page. For the rest of this article, we will use the example of Wacom tablets used by graphic artists. So say that you are selling all of the various Wacom tablets on your site. Find as much information you can about your product and put it into a safe place for later, as you will be referencing this information quite a bit.
Next, you can start writing the copy for your sales page. Remember that writing web copy is almost totally different than writing an academic paper or a work of fiction. You want your text to be short and sweet so that it gets your point across without boring your reader to death. Give your copy short paragraphs and plenty of white space so that someone can easily skim through it.
When writing your copy, be personable. Discuss the items that you are selling in detail, but leave out the stuff that nobody really cares about. Sticking with the Wacom idea, have your sales copy discuss how beautiful a Wacom tablet can make your images and stick the dry information about the size or the resolution of the tablet in a separate specifications list at some other point on your site. Always emphasize the best points of what you are selling while neglecting to mention (or downplaying) any problems or shortfalls.
